I've been subbed to the XLR8R podcast for a while now, originally to check out a Glitch Mob mix (which I just finally downloaded). In the process I found a few new gems:
- Copy: '86 Til Infinity PDXLR8R -- This stuff (and Portland itself) is way too hip for me, but there are some standout tracks by Strength, Yacht, and The Blow on here.
- Mary Anne Hobbs: Live in SF (01/29) -- I never liked Mary as a DJ on Radio 1, and I don't like 2-step garage, but the eclectic mix of tracks on this mix really work well together.
- CYNE's Hip-Hop Experience -- I'm not much of a Hip-Hop fan, but this is a great blend of some more underground and classic sounds.
- Mush Records -- A great combination of funky and depressing. Good stuff from Eliot Lipp, Daedelus, and others.
